I developed Houdini specific pipeline tools that gave FX artists the power to render a number of shots in batches. For example in the car chase sequence we set up a template and executed it over all the shots that called for the burnout effect. A supervisor would review the resulting renders and an artist would then open the starter scene and tweak it to completion. This was instrumental with the Ralphzilla sequences as we could identify edge cases during development and feed that back into the rig development for this complex effect that required input from Animation, Crowds and FX cyclically.
