Walt Disney Animation : Moana 2

The climactic storm sequence called for a visual way to personify the evil deity Nalo manifest as this terrible tempest, another opportunity to showcase my skill in creating elemental visions.

The lighting arcs were 2.5D drawn / sculpted to fit the contours of of the storm cell. Additional glow and shadow volumes helped to shape the face.
